Interesting, nice to know that even if we have more DOFs in our spline than equations, we can still get a nice result by setting curvature to 0.
I wonder if we ever meet the "opposite" situation where we have more equations than DOFs; it is probably some sort of interpolation problem then, of finding the spline parameters that minimize some sort of "error" w.r.t. the equations?
