How is the sinc filter interpolation applied in concrete examples?

jifengy

This material was taught to me in a signals processing course, but it is exciting to know that all of this is applicable to the graphics world, which I had not considered before.

UhrmasJHHue

Learned this in a computer music class. I'm surprised to see how it's applicable to graphics too.

marshmallow

I learned about this in Physics for Musical Sound as well - I'm also excited to hear that this theorem applies to graphics too!

Is this minimum frequency known as the Nyquist rate?

ahhuang

This is a tie-in between what we've learned in this class so far to ECE signal processing courses which is hard. I've never really thought about signal reconstruction in regards to an image.
