I, the great Rak, am in awe of how this can be applied to functions. In fact, I am inclined to wonder if this can, like in the previous lecture, be further applied to other vector-like quantities (like images).

How can we check/prove that Del F*u = D_u(F) for all functinos u, since there are infinitely many funcitons. Additionally, are there any restrictions on what kinds of functions u can be? (Ex: must be continuous, same domain/codomain, etc.)

Is the directional derivative represented by <<>>, or is <<>> some other function that we want to evaluate to the directional derivative of F along function u?
