@rohta I have only seen mailboxing in CS refer to Message queues (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Message_queue) but I don't see how that applies here.
Could you also save computation time for triangles by only testing the portion of the triangle within the current leaf node. And would also cover this case as well.
