I believe fringing happens even without pre-multiplied alpha if you don't delete the black edges properly. This happens to me a lot of the time as a photoshop-user. Is there some way to procedurally filter fringing out in these other cases? Or will pre-multiplied alpha fix it all, and I'm misunderstanding something?
