It seems strange that it's consider a breaking perspective, since for some of these, it looks 'correct'. But that's probably because that for some of these the perspective difference is so small that to our eyes, it's not as noticable, while others are less of making it realistic, and more 'playable'

@Shell Good point: for a camera lens with a very long focal length, perspective and orthographic projection will start to look very similar. For that reason, people typically use telephoto lenses for portrait photography: so that objects nearby---namely, your nose!---don't look bigger than they actually are.
