pdf should be modified in the generate_sample function according to the value of wi and that should correspond to the value of p(wi) as mentioned on the previous slide (i think)

Just wanted to confirm the units and the meaning of the quantities. We said that the unit of f, the BRDF (or BSSDF) is 1/sr. Why do we sample a Spectrum object from the brdf ? The spectrum represents spectral radiance or does it mean that we get it for all the wavelengths of light. Also does this mean that the BRDF is different for wavelengths ? Is it because of the different absorption by the medium ?
