I saw it as black and blue while I was watching the lecture video, now I see it as gold and white...I think it's probably because of environment lighting?

For anyone that was curious, this is why the dress is perceived two different ways. It's an artifact of the human brain trying to fill in the gaps of what it sees but can't fully understand.

This picture can be perceived as casting a yellow light on a blue-black dress, or casting a blue shadow on a white-golden dress. For me, even with this in mind, I still can't imagine that there is a blue shadow. Color is truly very psychological.
