Might be a bit early to ask this but Rocket League pushed an update a couple days ago causing the game to have a halloween theme on some maps. As you'd probably guess, these maps are dark. However, I noticed that the screen seemed filled with static. I've noticed this in a couple other games too when the scenery becomes very dark. Is this visual effect on purpose? Or is this possibly an undesirable effect due to low lighting?

@Tdog Do you happen to have a link to an image/video for this static effect? I suspect that this is an intentional visual effect, but it would be better to see it first. ;-)

@motoole sorry for the late reply. Here are pictures I took of the ground in light and dark conditions. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KZVe9oRk-o6tqevBYrsvyHjvlfFC81yn-UD2qxs6ssE/edit?usp=sharing

@Tdog Hard to say from these images, but as I mentioned before---it would be surprising if this wasn't an intentional effect.
