Why are there more "noisy" (small and white) points as we increase the number of bounces?

@bunbohue I would say that the estimator for higher-order bounces is generally noisier than lower-order bounces, since the contribution of higher-order bounces is typically harder to resolve. So adding the contribution of these higher-order light paths could end up increasing the per-pixel variance in the pixel value estimate.
