I believe that if we draw the v vector starting with the same origin vector u has, then the diagram looks more like a pentagon and that is what we called the "pentagon inequality"?

"Pentagon inequality" is not actually a commonly used term.. though searching for it on google does produce 146 hits. The point here is that, if something on a slide doesn't seem to make sense, ask questions!
