In terms of computer graphics specifically, is there a difference in how you generate these images if the screen is OLED. I understand that the pixels themselves may be compensated differently depending on screen/viewing conditions but will the actual generated frame be different?

Generally no---at least not to my knowledge. However, your display still needs to convert digital images into physical lights (pixels), which can alter the appearance of your image (including color and contrast of the image). The final appearance of a digital image therefore depends on your monitor.
