Is there any case where non-premultiplied alpha is used?
It seems like premultiplied alpha is better in pretty much every way.

@churchill Non-premultiplied colors may be useful for image editing applications. If you want to edit/manipulate the alpha channel (transparency layer) associated with an image, it is important to work with non-premultiplied colors so that the red, green, and blue channels are independent of modifications to the alpha channel.
